S Katy Tucker designed the video and projections for the world premiere of the Ouroboros Trilogy, which comprises the operas Madame White Snake (2011 Pulitzer Prize), Gilgamesh, and Naga, composed by Zhou Long, Paola Prestini, and Scott Wheeler, with libretti by Cerise Lim Jacobs. The Trilogy is directed by Michael Counts, who also designed the production. The lighting design is by Yi Zhao, the costumes are by Zane Philstrom. It took place at the historic Cutler Majestic Theater in Boston, and was co-produced by Beth Morrison Projects and Friends of Madame White Snake, and presented by ArtsEmerson.

Using the media server, D3 – Tucker worked with her team (Programmer and Engineer Matt Houstle and Animator and Associate Video Designer Robert Figueira) to create an immersive video design experience.   Scenic elements provided a greyscale canvas for projection as well as a 3.8mm LED wall upstage to help transport the audience through this mythical journey.  With Figueira, Tucker created nearly 6 hours of video to render all three opera under the direction and production design of Michael Counts.
